SimKits is a research project that explores the possibility of having interactive cubes as an educational platform.It consists of a set of tangible cubes which detects and communicates with neighbors, day to day objects (e.g.smartphones) and a server (i.e. smartphone/tablet/laptop) to enable tangible programming and circuit simulation.From the inspiration of “Sifteo Cubes (Siftables)”, SimKits tries to fill the deficiency of interactivity with day today objects, programming and circuit simulation targeting middle school children. It enables children to learnProgramming concepts easily while having fun through tangibility.
